Hants County Soldiers in World War I.
The purpose of this book is to honour the men and women of Hants County who served their country during World War 1 and especially those who lost their lives in battle. We have recorded the names, birth dates, occupation, next of kin, regiments, and other historical data that was available. They came from every town and village in Hants County – from Noel to Vaughan and Hantsport to Enfield. They joined many Regiments – from the 6th Canadian Mounted Rifles (cavalry), the 25th Battalion Nova Scotia Rifles, the 85th Battalion Nova Scotia Highlanders, and our own 112th Nova Scotia Overseas Battalion based in Windsor. We salute them all!
