Rawdon/Douglas: Two Loyalist Townships in Nova Scotia

A number of genealogies on Hants County families. There will also be information on selected Loyalist families settled in the county but outside the Rawdon and Douglas areas. Considerable information has been included on former members of the 2nd Battalion, 84th Regt .’, not only on the families settled on the regimental lands of Douglas but for others who moved to other parts of Nova Scotia or beyond.

Attention is drawn to my local histories Falmouth – A New England Township in Nova Scotia and Newport. Nova Scotia A Rhode Island Township where I have attempted to give detailed information concerning the early history of the area and genealogical information on many persons connected by marriage to the Rawdon and Douglas families.
