Phillip DeVenney passed away April 16, 2008 at the age of 81.  He was the son of John and Nellie (Sweet) DeVenney and lived in Windsor Forks.

Phillip was a farmer, author, wood carver and a man of many stories.  He worked the family farm for most of his life and also for the Hants Cooperative until his retirement.  After his retirement, Phil wrote three books of his memories of farming and logging in Hants County.
