Days: Wed – Sun Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm

Position Duties and Tasks:
- interpretation of historic exhibits
- research of local history topics
- processing of artifacts and archival materials
- exhibition and event support
- records management
- customer service
- occasional digital media posting on local history
Activity, Percentage of Time
- Customer Service, 10%
- Data Collection and Management, 20%
- Supervising staff / Coordinating Volunteers, 10%
- Web Design or Update / Social Media, 15%
- Research, 45%
Ideal candidates:
- those who have a passion for history and heritage
- who are goal and detail oriented
- strong in written, verbal and organizational skills
- experience with scanners, graphic software and databases would be an asset
- Enrolment in History programs, Information studies, Archaeological programs will be considered an asset.
