Known to many as the 'smug pickler', Elizabeth Peirce will be speaking about canning and preserving. Elizabeth is a modest, well mannered writer and editor during daylight hours. But by evening she is furiously at work in her shed, kitchen or garden.
Two of Elizabeth's books, “You Can too! A Guide to Canning and Preserving” and “Grow Organic: A Simple Guide to NS Vegetable Gardening” will be available to purchase at a cost of $20.00 each. A light snack will follow the presentation. Open to the public.
